LEARNING BY DOING. The Shelter Construction Program is a unique experiential learning opportunity for students to design, build, and live in a structure they have created.

Student Jessica Martin met with experts at Cosanti in Scottsdale to learn about soil testing and earth/cement mixture composition and processes for rammed earth construction. Seen here, the model produced is a cutaway of the shelter she plans to build in April.
